What you can expect from us

  • Choice and control. You decide what supports you receive, who provides them and how. You can change your mind.
  • Respect and dignity. Your identity, culture, language, beliefs, relationships and sexuality are respected.
  • Safety. You have the right to supports that are safe and delivered competently, and to be free from violence, abuse, neglect, exploitation and discrimination.
  • Privacy. Your information is yours. See our privacy page.
  • Freedom from restrictive practices, except in the limited circumstances the NDIS rules allow.
  • Information you can understand, in your language and your format, so you can make real decisions.
  • To speak up. To complain, to have a support person or advocate, and for it to change nothing about how you are treated. See complaints and feedback.
  • To leave. You can stop using our services or move to another provider, and we will help with the handover.

The NDIS Code of Conduct

Everyone who works for us is bound by the NDIS Code of Conduct. It requires workers to act with respect, integrity, honesty and transparency; to provide supports safely and competently; to respect privacy; to act promptly on concerns about quality and safety; and to take all reasonable steps to prevent and respond to violence, exploitation, neglect, abuse and sexual misconduct. You can read it on the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission website.

What we ask of you

That you tell us what you need, treat our workers with the same respect we owe you, and let us know when something changes — a new goal, a new address, a change to your plan — so the support stays right for you.

Getting independent support

You can bring anyone you trust to any conversation with us. If you want someone independent, the Disability Advocacy Finder lists free advocacy services in Queensland.

We show our respect and acknowledge Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples who are the traditional custodians of this land. We pay respects to their elders past and present.
